A day without you -
my heart is broken.
There's no one to tell my story,
I am lost with the ghosts of the past.
Drowning in this emptiness
without you by my side.
Realizing the distance,
my soul trembles in it's cage.
Everything I am, every part of me
belongs only to you.
Where are you my love?
Are you somewhere thinking of me?
Just as lost, as lonely, as I am?
I hear you calling my name...
Another sleepless night
with eyes wide open, I dream.
Our hearts entwined by memory,
souls twisted with despair.
I long to hold you, to kiss you,
to wipe away the tears I've caused.
Being without you kills me inside,
each day a little more.
Am I all that you dream of
as you are all I do?
Reality sets in more each day,
knowing what I lost, not knowing what's to come.
Please tell me I've not lost you;
tell me you wish I was there.
Kiss me as the night sky fades away,
assure me all will be as you say.
Give me one more chance to love you,
I would not leave ever again.
