Shadows in the sand.
Life unfolds slowly.
Empty thoughts flutter
like a butterfly through air.
Rain falls down
echoing a child's tears.
Peace encompasses me--
a bubble of hope, of joy.
The chance for love,
my heart flies free,
imitating a bird in flight.
My soul as bright
as the sun in all it's glory.
Petty problems,
hopeless entanglements,
pushed aside
to live my life
in unadulterated happiness,
with him at my side.
This is my life.
I am satisfied.
With all it's twists and turns,
still I am happy.
