My heart screams out
Every fiber happy.
Ghosts of the past
hide away.
A new chance to love,
now I  can put away my fears.
Carefree and flying high,
all my pain erased by joy.
The girl has captivated me.
How did this happen?
Ever alone, now my solitude has ended.
Rivers of blood, of tears, have dried.
In her eyes, I drown.
New emotions flood through my veins.
Every moment treasured.
Something inside me has been set free.
This was never expected.
Angel sitting beside me:
mine to hold, to kiss, to care for.
All my dreams I see in her.
Trusting her with my heart,
opening my thoughts to her;
please don't let the pain return.
Open as the sky above--never buried.
Under the walls I've spent years building,
love begins to break through,
opening to something I never thought I'd feel.
She is my every wish.
