April 2012 I can't lie lately i have been feeling all wrong,
eyes colored like the sky, make a man like me die every time you're gone,
never before did i wanna act more like a man,
it all started when my bus departed and i held you by the hand,
i said hey girl don't you see that i am all the way in?
not a game to be made by a dame so i didn't know you were playin,
i can't lie lately i have been thinking you everywhere,
in those dirty boots and blue jeans it's too easy to care,
maybe some day you'll find a way to actually test your trust,
went to the store with enough to buy four scratch offs, but all four were a bust,
how can i truly decide with my mind when my heart,
never lets my mind take over, so i'm still waiting for our start,
i said come on girl just hurry on over i'll save you a spot,
don't need rum as long as i have your bum, won't even need pot,
i can't lie lately i am lost without a care,
going insane seeing you in my brain and thinking you everywhere.
