The road i've taken until now wasn't an easy one,
all the ways we end and days we've begun,
still i'd give it all up in the long run,
to again have even a minute of fun,

ever since high school it's been hard to find,
the girl i see when i dream in my mind,
don't even care if she is clingy or unkind,
as long as i can have the one to put my past behind,

every time i fall down i fall all alone,
picked me up to the roof then made sure i was thrown,
before you made sure you were up against my hip bone,
a kiss was nothing but something to postpone,

been a long time since i felt right,
lost someone dear to me like the Dark Knight,
now i can't find a way to excite,
the reality that i am alone again tonight.
