Now and then i think of how her hair used to lay,
on my shoulder, i paid the toll to every word you say,
back then i lied and thought you were the one,
now you're just another upset that leaves me stunned,

seems i've always tried to keep myself down in the gutter,
even though when i'm with this new girl i stutter,
you said you'd never speak words of the end,
at first it hurt but now i'm glad it's the end,

why'd you have to end our love?
make me out like a bully you just shove,
now i don't even need your voice,
but don't treat me like a stranger, a mistaken choice,

why'd you have to be like every other girl?
another 24 hours and i'll leave this world,
guess i don't need anything from you though,
cause now you're just somebody that i used to know.
