only face that shines light, even in the pitch black,

Crowded room is full of drained faces,
i stack the odds in my favor replacing numbers with aces,
even the deepest of conversations, is littered with lies,
there is truth to be found in what i felt when i looked in your eyes.
You're not the reason for anything, except for why stars shine,
in a sky cluttered with white distant dots, there is no need for time,
another night with full stoned friends, the kind that're easy to cut ties,
i say i am all fine, i see your star shine, i hope nobody sees right through my disguise.
