Wasting my life or wasting my time,

losing my mind or loving blind,

missing out or catching the sign,

it's what we had that i still try to find.

The love i felt not too long ago,

the love i now hope will again show,

even though i already know,

it will never again stage another show.

Never gave up according to plan,

too much thinking of the amount of pain i could withstand,

i need you to know why i hightailed it out and ran,

i can't live happily until you understand.

It's because you left for Italy and i couldn't believe,

that you'd return and still see

and feel the love that was once felt for me,

now i wish we were what we used to be.
