the grass is as soft as your hair

in the air lingers the scent of flowers

i could live in this moment forever

laying by your side for hours

catching time in a bottle

staring up at the clear blue sky

i could live in this moment forever

watching the clouds slowly drift by

bathing in the warmth of the sun

squishing the mud between your toes

i could live in this moment forever

with the grass bending as the wind blows

your hair dances in the breeze

your hand is placed gently in mine

i could live in this moment forever

our love can withstand the test of time

there's no words to say how much i love you

there's no way to tell you how much i care

i can only throw my arms around you

and promise to always be there

as the sun goes down on the rest of the world

and the darkness conquers the skies

this moment will live on forever

because the starts still twinkle in yours eyes
