Alas! the world drifts to its predicted end
The practice of immorality has become a trend
Homosexuality,partners,lovers and gays
Unmarreid mothers and yet no one says
A single word of remorse
The events have taken an uncanny course
We have forgotten what the Holy books tell
Of such people and how they fell
As Gods anger struck for defying HIS laws
Which are so clear, no ifs, buts or clause
Vow unto mankind for when will it learn
That their fate is sealed and they will burn
Vow unto me for what face will I show
To Him (SAW) for whom the Word did glow
What will I say when He(SAW) will ask
You knew my message, you had a task
'O' Dear Messenger forgive me for I was weak
In Your (SAW) Lords mercy, refuge I seek
I never raised my voice I do admit
For fears unknown I thought I was unfit
All I could muster was to lift this pen
Write this poem of those times when
Such perversions were worshipped as idols by all
They stood like giants handsome and tall
And spoke of their sickness
With such pride and sweetness
When nudity reigned supreme and lust was preached
When Your word was in every way breached
In those times of turmoil and tribulations
I kept my path straight avoiding such situations
To the weakest link in my faith I clung
Kept quiet and never opened my tongue
Forgive me My beloved Messenger(SAW) for all I could do
Was to keep my slate clean and of those I love too
Dear Shehzad, This poem is moving and intense. It shows how much you feel. The stanzas are musical and balanced. Do take care of the grammar.
Is the actor Anthony Hopkins?
I bow to you... A clear message ... well delivered...
Informing and reaching out... Refusing to accept, yet not condemning...But saying clearly... Judgment is in the hands of the creator ...
