Can’t understand how I am going to start,
Brother you have left us piercing the heart.
After a couple of years I got your information,
You are no more! How I’ll bear this devastation?
Such a nice smiling man will never come again,
This thought made me dumb with lot of pain.
Your family knitted a lot of dreams around you,
Can’t you see some of them? Even though a few?
You are now beyond any boundary beyond the eye,
Some say that you’re now become a star of the sky!
I can clearly remember your words and your face,
I won’t see again that you left behind as a trace!
Your life ended up with a sudden painful death,
All of us must have to meet our fate the last breath.
When I look at the very few of your pictures,
Can’t really solace me! Why such way it captures?
You’re a bright student and would’ve bright future,
But everything destroyed by making a big rupture!
I saw your epitaph and seemed to me nothing but fake
But except sorrow from that what I could really take?
You had a lot of frustrations but you pretended,
To be a happy man with a smile in your face blended!
Very short time! You could not manage your life well,
Left nothing behind! About you, which can at least tell.
Just a diary! Your hand writing! Yet not personal,
Only official matters in them, very simple as usual.
You had the limitation of life by being a married man,
You could manage everything but ended in life span.
I ransacked in the internet to get you there and surprise,
Came up with the news; I was shocked at your demise.
You liked to wear black pant, slipper and white shirt,
Now you’re wearing a white cloth and sleeping in dirt!
My lord is merciful; Dear! He will never treat you bad,
He knows after your demise how immensely we are sad.
Every one must die! But such death we can not bear!
When I see your photo, I close that with drops of tear.
Borther! Oh brother! Can’t you hear the prayer I say?
God! Forgive my brother! Now sleeping in the clay!
Living with the memory of you, will never make them apart,
You are alive! Glowing like stars in the core of my heart.
nothin to say more.....
wow.. its good idea you promoted and hope you like the same way... liked it and impressive enough... good luck
Such a sad loss for you Shawon dear friend.
I think the last line summed it up well -
"You are alive! Glowing like stars in the corner of my heart"
A beautiful way to remember him, you must always think of him as those stars that glow in the corner of you heart, giving you strength to somehow get over your grief, remember the time he lived like he now glows on in you wanting *you* to live, but of course never forget his memory.
Hang in there Shawon, you have friends :)
Reach out to your friends in times of need.
Love and peace, and take care,
from your friend Dolores x
