In your lifetime I always saw you in a smiling face,

You seemed to be happy and thus shone the place!

You behaved like that, as if you didn’t have distress,

Whatever may be the circumstances or in the stress!

When you were with us, you taught me many things,

I realize, those words have come to me as blessings!

I can still recollect those memories of you and say-

I have learned; man is alone! I’ve found the way!

So many shortcoming of life humming around us,

Some of them we face and fail, some of them pass!

But with your smile you never exposed your sorrow,

If I could, I would say, give me your smile borrow!

When I am in danger, I remember your face and thus,

The anxiety and problems I dare to chase and surpass!

I had found a true friend and now I know it was you!

But you’ve perished in the sunshine like a drop of dew!
