How you can console her
Standing on her life’s edge?
Waiting for painful death
At this very tender age.
Like the other people
She also wants to live,
Who can save her life?
And who is able to give?
Helplessly she prays
Take away my breath,
Don’t give me such pain
I am ready for my death!
At this very tiny age
She’d be in playground,
But she is in hospital
Cancer made her bound.
Switching off the light
Before turning it on-
She’ll meet her fate
When the hope is gone.
Do you consider the
Fighter to be brave?
What about the little girl
Who’ll be in the grave?
Modern medical science
Has developed so much,
Yet it can’t give her
A wishful dream’s touch.
Pity for this tiny girl
Everyone will cry-
But yet her brisk eyes
Look at the dark sky!
Her parents pray
God! Save our daughter.
Only you can do this
You have that power!
Who knows if this can
Make any sense-
Their prayer echoed
In the painful silence.
