One simple glance

and I’ve sinned

I saw you do it

No one knows

but you and me

You tried to claw

your way out

but you knew

you wouldn’t make it

And I know

that you saw me

I heard you scream it

Loud pristine and

crystal clear

I heard you scream it

pour the guilt

right over me

And I never answered

I don’t really know why

And when you jumped

my name was on your lips
