Why are you

hurting me?

Can you remember me

here alone

in your shadow?

Can you recognize me

your victim

in the distance?

What did I do to

deserve this punishment?

Behind unshed tears

lies a single thought

that haunts my mind

It won't let me sleep

It won't let me breathe

Do I have to feel?

Do I have to live?

Why can't I forget?

This thought

To die like this

It tempts me

Will I give in?

And you won't hold

my hand

And you won't shed

a tear

I'm begining to believe

it was all a lie

Were you ever there?

I don't want to die

I just want to this

to end

This pain is

all you ever gave to me

I'll die like this

with unshed tears

and you won't catch me

as I fall
