Wouldn't save you

From the mistakes you'll make...

Remember when,

Mom said

"Don't jump up and down on the bed!"

And you knocked your head

Against the wall

Because you did it anyway -

Remember when,

Your friend told you to speak up

To that cute girl or boy and you didn't

Because you were afraid -

Remember when,

You got dumped

For the first time

And you thought the world was gonna end...

But soon enough you realized

That you haven't lived your life at all.

From the mistakes you'll make...

No matter how many times

Your heart's been broken,

You will one day find true love -

No matter how many times

You spend money frivolously

And it turns around

To bite you in the ass,

You'll do it again -

No matter how many times

People have made the same mistake

Someone's gonna make that mistake again.
