You rip my soul to pieces 

and you don't even know it,

how much power you have over me.

I'm led to you.

To follow you in your dark path.

I don't know why I let myself live this way 

So lost in something beyond our control

Something's just aren't made to be explained

Sometimes life just throws shit to you 

Tells you to grow stronger so you can handle it

or wither and die,

your choice.

My bleak awareness is painful 

Living under your wrath of ignorance is far worse.

I will love you one day,

only to hate you the next.

The silver lining is a beast set free,

a place I want to be. 

After everything your ignorance puts me through 

I still love you.
