Shimmers Of The Sky

The sunlight so brilliant

I love when it scintillates my skin

As if I were a queen

And my castle were where I stand

An illuminat world where hierarchy corrupts

Royalty is a doomed creation

Power inherited will be power misused

Following the midnight sun

Only to find what I should have won

Soft glimmering of the moon

Under my light you will prosper

Through the thick night sky I might haunt you

Be cautious young one

You might lose sight of your shimmer from the sky

My mother was a rainbow

My father turned her grey

they loved me like a sky lantern

they watched me fly away
