oh sorrow will you not depart?

I beg of you to leave me soon

from the day you’ve gripped my heart

my world was full of fear and gloom.



you claim my mind in a neverending war

ready to pounce leaving me in fright

how ruthless you are, it’s beyond compare!

for dragging me in this unhappy plight.



the light of joy is far from me

your dark embrace surrounds my fate

I weep, how dreadful my life, you see?

I hope tomorrow this cloud would fade.



so sorrow will you please depart?

let loose this chain and set me free

I mourn the day when you I met

tonight again, I wallow in misery!
