Light reverberates in my mind
feeling gold essence of the moon.
freed to flee darkness left behind
on such a perfect night in June.

The moonlight glistens on the lake,
a beautiful shimmering tide.
gazing to do a double take,
this enjoyable scene provides.

Basking in the moon’s bold power,
I hear it calling out my name.
It started at the midnight hour,
it's magic awaits me to claim.

I'm joyfully locked in a dream,
as such a creature of the night
in a magical moonlit theme,
now imagine my pure delight.

Soon the new dawn will be rising,
all darkness shall fast fade away.
but, the moon was energizing,
greeting another lovely day.
