family love

in a garden of life

sprouting hither yon

beyond guarded roots

all born are we

from select seeds 

fertilized and watered

tending our shared needs

with respect and supplication

matured in love and

attentive application

a sun-kissed maze

planted tightly here

united family, we amaze

woven throughout years

following paths that are made

growing beautiful under warmth

and liberal doses of steady shade

in seasons due time

a crop will sprout anew 

passing through our door

that holds together true

raise love up once more

from seeds of dedication

plant new gardens for

all of us sharing there

fertilized and watered

tending to each care

attentive to pull out weeds

sprouting roots of love

with each cherished seed

we'll carve branches

upon our front door

so all will know this love

we are all rooted as one

new branches together

growing under the sun
