Tears of a Decaf Drinker
Tears of a decaf drinker.
People in love surround me and I try not to feel alone.
They’re all talking with each other whilst I stare blankly at my phone…
I’m willing for someone to chat with me online or even in the shop around.
I sip my decaf mocha by myself and rarely make a sound.
Why am I by myself I scream to God loudly in my head!
So many people around me but I might aswell be lying dead!
I shed so many tears wondering how and when my time will come…
I cannot help myself and ignore the stares from many not just some!
I won’t do anything silly even if it means I’ll still be by myself.
I promise that to Jesus who says that He will improve my health.
He holds my hands softly and says gently please my child don’t weep.
He says dear Sara I feel your pain well & truly deep.
He walks me outside to stare right at the sunny beach.
One day Sara you’ll meet your man but patience I do teach.
You are loved by many friends here on earth as well as in Heaven too.
In the meantime whilst you wait I’ll be walking here with you.
Jesus made me smile and brought joy right into my heart.
I give thanks to Him & to you dear friend for never being apart.
