Fallen Angel

Understanding didn't cause the painful expression

To be eradicated from his grim face, nor illuminate his jaded eyes from within

His pale skin flushed ruddy, his breath caught in self punishment

As he felt the sweet silken caress of temptation begin

But divine selection doesn't cater to any soft lacy value

For the angelic first must ordain purity, not sin.
