The hillsides grow a thousand hues
Of vibrating, perfect flowers
Emboldened by the shining dews,
Enlivened by honeyed showers.
Glowing buttercups swing and sway,
Shining with sunny golden glow.
Queen Anne's Lace in fancy array
Waves in delicate snowy show.
Blue cornflowers reflect the skies,
Tall grasses raise their bearded heads,
Cowslips gaze at the butterflies,
Daylilies cluster - bright redheads.
The wind whispers, quite wantonly,
Sweet nothings - stirring reaction.
Grinning sun stretches certainly
Anticipating distraction.
Pastoral scene, blessed by Nature;
Nectar flowing in drops so sweet.
Singing glories vibrate colour,
Hills and vales resound - joy complete.
Amazing that nobody noticed these magnificet lines.
What a heartreding discription of the beauty of nature, one can see the buttercups alive and breating.
And te peace, - and the JOY!
Thank you for sharing this gem with us.
