Love is always worth the pain
That's a huge lesson to learn.
Too many of us relinquish all chance
After that first searing burn.

It is the joyous chance to live in bliss
Don't let fear overcome good.

That's no reason to forego the blessings
For fear that your heart won't mend./may rend
If you turn away from love
And never become involved

You sure will not have evolved.
