I know, slightly, a man
Who has a golden tongue
From which sparkling jewels
Are in profusion hung.
Each time he speaks to me
These precious pearls and stones
Shine iridescently
In a multitude of tones.
I become elated-
There is such beauty there.
I don't know many men
With this gift that I find rare.
Tangling our words is fun
As long as thoughst are clear.
Gemologists we be-
Appreciating by ear.
