Privatized Prison Profiteers And US Highest Rate of Imprisonment
The US even before privatized prison profiteers had a financial motive for
keeping people in jail, the US had the world's highest percentage of
imprisoned people, wrecking nonviolent offenders lives, imprisonment,
court and police costs. The US House in April 2022 voted to decriminalize
marijuana on the federal level and to expunge arrest records.
