FREEDOM'S MARRIAGE

Freedom loving
two tumbleweeds
blown together
these windwed weeds
wended ever after
together
through the winding
ways of life...

their

love
and marriage
not a  mirage

DECAPITATED DAISIES

*

Unconscious
children ambling down
a garden path
decapitating daisies
are the promiscuous..
leaving a trail of broken hearts

sooner or later
all of us
..hundredth lambs..
begin to feel
the winged
touch of angels.

17 YEAR ENGAGEMENT

As baby elephants
are longest in outbreaking
Often the very best marriages
are longest in the making.

BRIDAL VEIL
TOSSED

She has tossed away
her bridal veil
.. lace of Milky Way
starjeweled with
comet trail
for the Moon
needs no array
of the sun's rays
when she is
One
with her husband
the Sun

MOON PENDANT

Sol The Cosmic Bubble Blower
blew..
and birthed a big balloon
.. a bubble ball moon
Of a sudden she floated up
and into the evening.
Above the flotsam
Now she floats
chainless pendant
On Night's throat resplendent
born of the light
of the Sun descendant
as he enkindled
her orb ascendant

BRIDAL TRAIN

The moon has wed
the sun, the Lord
of Light
.. but her bridal
train, the Milky Way,
is seen only
of the night.

LABOR OF LOVE

For a while she
was annoyed
that he enjoyed
while she
was employed..

until she got
a job she enJoyed.

I KNEEL

I kneel before the
heart of my Beloved..
within the shrine of
His soul..
It is never locked
to any being.

YEARLING

My love for you
a yearling became
many eons ago.

LIGHT IS THE LOVE OF STARS

Light is the love of stars.
Warmth the love of fire
Fragrance the love of flowers
Fruit the love of desire.

Music the love of reed
Water the love of sky
Breath the love of angels

Love possesses not

Need attracts
the mother
the brother
Needlessness
attracts
the lover

FIRST MOUNTAIN MARRIAGE

Clouds ring the mountain
peaks as
earth marries woven water
with air and fire as the
witnesses

SECOND MOUNTAIN MARRIAGE

A river flowing encounters
a mountain..
but in time
the squares become curves
.. and opposition
becomes encircling love

TALKING TO EACH OTHER

Talking was the way of Midge
to him to make a bridge
but silence was his way..
with words he quite abridged

She became more silent while
He made an effort more to speak
and they made new communion
while the sun slipped
neath the ridge

BEES CHASED BLOOM CHASTE

bees chased
bloom chaste
Though
they forced their
attention upon her
she is faithful to the sun

The little brook
prays for the communion
of rain
its chalice to fill
that it might
over
the thwarting
dam
to the sea spill

Eye goblets can't
contain the thrill..
joy tears swell and
into rivulets spill

DEITY IN THE TEMPLE

Krishna, the dark seed,
Icon installed
in the temple..
of the apple..
in its aperture
.. foiled is the deep brown
by the light fruit

He, the Deity, will quicken
.. when given the attention
of the sun, the rain,
and Mother Earth
