it comes unbidden.

The dawning sun dissolved
when he suddenly kissed
the lacy bridal veil
of morning
harbor mist

Divine Weaver
has left clumps of wild
grass
as mangers for
ground nesting birds

Behind the chinese screen
of waterfall
lie cave sanctuaries

of vinefalls
lie high rock eagle aeries

THISTLE EPISTLES

From the ripe seeds of
blooms of thistle
Spirit Wind blows
his epistles

BRANCHED LIGHTNING

Branched lightning
with more members
than four armed Brahma
reveals the whole sky
in radiant diarama

THEY DON'T TARRY

Godward souls
having left their bodies
don't tarry
in memorial
cemeteries

when they coined
the word edify

In an all-grey sky
was a cloud
with a sunbeam straw
sucking up the sea

Starlings opine
in the woods of pine
No matter their politics...
their joy is divine

WARM LIGHT

Love in a smile
a warm light
on a dark cold,
and hungry night
