Such slivery silvery thin
steps.. the shallow long
wave laps.. make to the sea..
3 steps to Neptune
.. He makes it so easy..
so we are told is sadhana
in the 12th chapter of the Gita
Author's Notes/Comments:
Dr Rao of the DC Sai Baba
center said that the 12th
chapter of the Gita
shows Lord Hari's mercy.
"If you cannot love Me
then work for Me" says
Hari. If we cannot do that
He gives an easier path..
and so on and so on and so on.
i love this very spiritual...
I have to first start off by saying that the title to this piece is what caught my eye. There's a peaceful mystery to it.
I like your smooth free verse, the only line that caught me up was "make to the sea." Makes or makes it to the sea or something to that like could make it more clear and flow a bit better.
I am so glad that you stated background information in your author's notes. Though I would have still found the poem beautiful I don't think it would have much meaning or power to the readers as it does to you.
