J C Penney went to the vegetarian hospital of W H Kellogg in
Battle Creek.. and received a cure for his physical problem
after being at death's door.
In addition, he had a spiritual experience there.. and came
home.. gave his staff generous severance pay.. and began to
serve himself.
Kellogg was the MD brother of the cereal business founder.
Kellogg advocated no sugar, nor coloring agent additives
in cereal. He studied the rapid growth in ecoli (colon bacteria)
after animals are slaughtered.. and found that 1 colon bacteria
can multiply millions of times within a few hours of
the cow's murder. W H
Kellogg disapproves
of the Kellogg Foundation's involvement
with the dairy & meat
industries
