She told me that growing up

as a Jew in Manhattan....

Christmas was a time

to identify oneself as 'not with

Jesus'.. so often she said

'not Jesus' 'not Jesus'

it became like not thinking

of a white elephant.. one obsessed

on him all the time.

Years later she had a Hindu guru..

and had come to love Jesus

and his teachings.
