had curved from the weight
of its lime caterpillar

God the Divine Alchemist
makes mangos from the morning mist

Om, the jewel in the lotus rests
        as kunda bloom pearls in petal snows rest

(not a pearl from an oyster
                 cruelly and untimely ripped)
