What hurt Jesus' heart the most?
The mockery of the mob?
The neglect of sleeping disciples?
The betrayal of the doubt-ridden Judas?
The denial of Peter?
The crown of thorns? The nails? The scourging?
The slow suffocation on the cross?
None of these.. but the few seconds of
despair thinking that Abba had abandoned him.
Hey great poem, but I think the thing that most hurts Jesus is when people reject Him and what he did on the cross for our sins.
