Oh a cockroach
is better luck
than a cricket
upon the hearth
for he magnetizes
to your home

One person who had moved
into a home in which there
were cockroaches.. would
of an evening
pour out a little tablespoon
of grape juice on the floor
and watch them fill
all the spaces around
the circle as they
came to drink
..
