The high sand castle turrets

have been kissed by seawaves..

which melt away

as they lave.

The ice sculptures have melted.

The blue chalk on the sidewalk

has been rained away.

The mango blossoms have fallen.

But the love you gave is invulnerable.

The love forever remains..

like an eternal tiara

on invisible Sara.

The sea sparkles in the sun

.. beneath the castle gone.
