Palm Trees Defronded For Palm Sunday
God protect the palm trees
from those who rip off the fronds
in the mistaken belief that
Palm Sunday tree vivisection
is pleasing to Christ, nor
is the rape of the forests for
Christmas trees in December
nor the murder of pigs, duck,
and other innocents for Easter
and other holiday meals.

The Christmas Tree is a pagan
The Christmas Tree is a pagan symbol that Christians have spiritualized. However, I think the Four Gospels indicate that the use of palm fronds in the Palm Sunday was permitted by Jesus. To my recollection, only the priests and pharisees objected. I would suggest the use of palm fronds in worship might even predate Christianity by being present in the 2nd Temple Judaism which was thriving before and during Christ's ministry. Had this been a violation of God's precepts, I doubt that He would have kept silent, or that His Church would have encouraged the palms' use in Palm Sunday liturgies.
