666 says the Chritian scripture is
the sign of the beast.
Yet numerologically 6 plus 6 plus 6
add up to 18.. 1 plus 8 is
9, the number of God
Perhaps the 'sign of the beast'
is the sign that all beasts and
all numbers are holy.
Footnote: whatever 9 is multiplied
by the answer always adds up to 9
Gosh darn it, those eggheads
Gosh darn it, those eggheads with whom I studied misinformed me. They taught me that the number is the sum of the numerical values of letters of Nero Caesar's name, when transliterated into the Hebrew Alphabet. But I do use the 6+6+6=18 concept in my poem structures, reserving the sixth and eighteenth lines (if the given poem has a sixth or eighteenth line) specifically for negative concepts or concepts and actions that I, personally, dislike.
I have enjoyed reading theology since my adolescence, but I have never before read the suggestion that the sign of the beast could be a sign of holiness. That is one of the most unique interpretations I have ever encountered. I wonder what the Apostle Saint John would have to say about that,
Thanks for sharing your interpretation; most informative.
