With her face
On the Blood stained floor
No Breath released
from her pale silent virgin lips
No sound of a heart beat
From her broken chest
What kind of monster
would do such a thing
to a young girl like this?
Though in fear
she was beaten
In relief she died
Her friends and family cried
when the evening headlines read,
"fourteen year old girl,
Beaten till she died"
