Footnote: What Astronomers May Already Realize

Human language was meant to praise and declare the sacred;

to explain and explicate the Cosmos to itself.

But most of us have reduced it to frivolity or hatred;

and that is why Love, Who is God, at this time bars

us from a knowledge of the language shared among the stars;

and wrath and rage most remain, so to speak, on the shelf

that is this planetl wrath and rage, like rancid jellies in violated jars.

This stunning contemplation

This stunning contemplation took the words right out of Infinite Mind and made it accessible to a broken, bewildered and hurting world.

The supreme message, cunningly transcribed for mortals, is a vindication for Poets such as yourself who have a deep understanding and reverence for the purpose, the power, of language. But with that power comes great responsibility and humanity, at this time, has defiled the sacred gift having "reduced it to frivolity or hatred".

That's a wrenching disappointment, especially in light of your expansive revelation of a Poet's Divine calling.

In the Poem's focal point, an avalanche of colossal, cosmic truth, it gets real and it feels like humanity is barred from a higher Eden:

". . . that is why Love, Who is God, at this time bars

us from a knowledge of the language shared among the stars"

Truly epic, instructive and ageless, gifted scribe of deeper reality. My respect!

Thank you for fully

Thank you for fully understanding the poem's purpose (as you always do when you comment), and for validating it as well.  The cosmic aspect of your own poetry (I mention "Council Of Stars" and "Gates Of Orion") provides a supreme example from which I have received such beneficial lessons---especially regarding the language shared among the stars.

My deepest appreciation for

My deepest appreciation for your supportive words. Your deep (and always accurate) contemplations on my work and your grasp of my vision has been a priceless gift on my journey. It is a pleasure and a privilege to peer into your own transcending voyages that fuse the best of our earthly theater with the sacred. Keep reaching higher, star whisperer and friend.

In the midst of this

In the midst of this womderful reply, the words "star whisperer," convey to me the ultimate compliment.  I have become quite ill tonight, with some difficulty breathing, but I just had to respond to this with the utmost gratitude and humble sincerity.  Thank you so very much.
