@ 27.055 MHz: Ad Astra; Poem That I Gathered Together During The Eclipse---April 8th 2024

No interplanetary satellite

will ever eclipse you upon my line of sight:

and that is just exactly as it ought to be.

Your long-haired beauty is such that I most prefer

it even to our local sky's stellar grandeur.

Nor is this merely stated human perfidy.

We know from study of this world's great Poetry

(the prose textbooks still gather dust, high on a shelf)

that our love can explain the Cosmos to itself,

especially in the acts of intimacy.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is certainly the fulfillment of your aspiration and it was a pleasure to witness its unveiling. The last two lines, being the heart, soul and lifeblood of your achievement, contain the billowing and crashing force of an orchestra.

I would call that success. Congratulations!
