Earth revolves around Sol at sixty-seven thousand miles per hour.
Sol travels along the galactic edge at four hundred ninety-three
thousand two hundred miles per hour. As of my most recent birthday,
I have lived approximately five hundred sixty-nine thousand four
hundred hours while Earth and Sol have provided me a free ride---
for which no effort has been required, except, perhaps, to
become aware of these perpetual motions. For the sake of my need for
Salvation, and to accomplish this once and for all, Jesus Christ
became incarnate of the flesh of His Mother, the Blessed Virgin, and
died upon a cross, with my sins heaped upon Him, so that he might
carry them down into the realm of the dead and leave them there; then,
because the realm of the dead was not capable of detaining him there,
it ruptured, and my own destined death rupture with it. Christ,
resurrected, has attached my life to His through my Faith, and has
carried my existence into Eternity, so that the process we, on this
Earth, with our limited perspectives, call Death is not a dying from
life---as animals and plants do---but a dying (that is, a passing)
out of this venue that sin has defiled and death has haunted, and
into eternal life. No effort of mine has been required, except the
effort to believe---which should not be viewed as an effort, but a
privilege, a vocation, and an exultation.
