Tonight I Dance With Darkness

Cryptic shades tread somber halls,

My silhouette cavorts on the walls,

Though my flesh and bones are static,

Maudlin girls lament bloodless love,

Calamity entrusted monophobia,

Dusk Replaces melancholy,

The abyss paralyzes me outside in.

Tonight I dance with darkness,

Discovered not broken or alone,

But waltzing with the twilight,

Emptiness is my salvation wholeness is my release.

Vacant hearts are filled by anatomy,

As mortals due what mortals due I find myself a god,

My cells untainted by frisky hands,

Crippled ladies are vanquished on winter nights,

I remain chaste by the hand of my own volition.

Tonight I dance with darkness,

Discovered not broken or alone,

But waltzing with the twilight,

Emptiness is my salvation wholeness is my release.

Invisible hands envelope my own,

Though my deceptive eyes see nothing,

But I know I am not alone,

Tonight I dance with darkness.
