Thoughts From A Crazy House

Give your tear a moment,

To catch up to your cheek;

Let your finger please linger,

Before sweeping off the weak.

Occupied with abstinence,

Gazing through the window frame;

Introduction to consiquence,

But prison just the same.

Fist kiss jaw,

Thought it would feel different;

Not quite so raw,

Leaking vein current.

Apparently it's illegal,

For him to beat you so much;

So they put you in this building,

With only a pillow to touch.

You said, "I'll rake his mane while i can",

"In 40 years it may be grey";

"In 50 years it may be gone",

"So I'll brush, braid, and play".

But don't forget the rules,

There are always rules, you know!

Stop lying for love,

For your snout will still grow.

(Still grow?

How very ironic!

Such subtle words,

But who dares to be a cinic...)

= Those thoughts you ponder at 3am,

Never were quite sane;

You decide what you'll dream each night,

You won't have the dark control your brain.

"Let's be hypocrits tonight",

That's what he wispered to you;

But a cigarette only lasts so long,

Such a smelly church pew.

Whose honest eyes blink?

Believe what they say;

Your jeans have so many holes,

You didn't even buy them that way.

Fourth street was never quite racial,

But they block you with sunglasses;

Waiting for the stop sign to turn green,

Desperate coffee shop masses.

"We're too busy" is what we say,

But we're really just avoiding you;

How should we react,

To your new black and blue tattoo?

You think sailor boys are pretty,

With their lighthouse refuge;

But you ended up with,

Your own Ebeneezer Scrooge.

How sad...

You should have gone,

To more cool frat partys;

Your life story,

Is slightly less than gory.

There were 5 ways that he kissed you,

All wrapped in a kit;

There was a limited edition smooch,

(But you could never afford it)

Now the shrink comes,

In her horrid, flower dress;

She uses big, fancy words,

To say that you're basically a mess.

"I plead guilty!"

You shout from the balcony;

"I love that man even with the blood!

And will not accept this tyranny!!!!!"
