my shade doesn't count
when it comes to persipitation
i've become a drought
i'm not so smart
like spit in the wind
what exactly happend?
such a silent grave
we built here
under the sun
it won't help anyone
to hear the silence
at the steel entrance
just another atmosphere
filled with fear
such a silence grave
that we water
evil seeking plotter
so many secrets
hidden debts
nobody knows us
when we scream and cuss
makes them blush
to read about us
if our story was a book
no one would dare to look
between the lines
snow flake flurry
will fall and bury
but dirt is still there
for those who care
naked and bare
say it-
life's not fair
they judge what we wear
because they're jealous
of my hair
and i don't cover my skin
because of the opinions you share
it'll be okay
is all we dare to say
they tell us to stay calm
when life in general is wrong
God save us
to redeem our conscience
flashbacks of earlobes
...kissing will commence
after i receive my lisence
tightrope soldier
we fight before we fall
so balance on my shoulders
may i ask for a miracle?
we both have blue eyes
so i know that we'll be friends
DNA is important
who likes split ends?
quench intollerence
i just want to be me
without judgement choriography
too much love
just enough
to keep us sane
then lock us back in our cage
using a crane
God forbid you touch us!
we're diseased
you'll never be pleased
with the way i skip
all over the street
in summer heat
happy and free
but you're not perfect
you practice poligamy
guess who gets the pity?
who may measure
my craniums preasure?
who may really judge
my lust from my love?
all of these fingers
stabbing at my face
giving a piece of their minds
putting me in my place
a harp is no good
without it's strings
so we hide behind hoods
acting in Christain themes
our beach made of snow
an icy undertow
a flower without a smell
but who can really tell?
a curtain can only cover
so much sun
so many bullets
can fit the barrel of a gun
shhh don't tell anyone
we're really not that powerful
when we're considered too colorful
countless cracks in the pavement
the screaming of the sea
you heard of the engagement?
so now you must damn me
jealous stars
competing for brightness
a scratched picture sitting alone
memories that haunt us
following footsteps
that lead to nowhere
following fingers
to lacey underwear
*no i didn't swear*
shaddows hide our beauty
mud turns to clay
but what can i say?
i wasn't perfect today
we all look for tigers
that can't bite
but finances are tight
so kiss goodbye to the sky
(maybe that's not the way to fly)
after all-
lips are just lips
eyes are just eyes
a crown can be put on anyone's head
a lucky clover dies
sanity is over rated
who is really sane?
come on- we all play this game!
ben franklin breathed like me
arostatle had eyes that longed
tom edison cried like me
same lyrics- same song
maybe it wasn't the screams that made history
it was the whispers
so whisper in my ear
kiss my tear
let's leave the wisdom
to those starring owls
and leave the dirt
on our towels
the rutine of a clock
pushing to go faster
or at least farther
or in a different direction!
oh God please
tension release!
but it's held back
by such an awkward beat
and an echo crack
how do we cheat?
here's to the life that you didn't lead...
here's to the mouths that you didn't feed...
forget the impossed guilt
you're not to be built
with factory blocks
with fancy locks
you know me
i'm human
low expectations guarenteed
*go figure* i bleed
so let's build a tree house
and live free
because this is me...
