If you want I’ll let you go

If you want I’ll become

A lesser version of myself

You can watch me become someone else

A floating body without a purpose

This is just another reason to feel worthless

A constant reminder that you aren’t here

Even in words that I speak aloud so sincere

These words leave me empty

And this emptiness feels so real

You can watch me fall after every desperate fall

Till these knees only allow me to crawl

And you say honey, it will get better

And I say honey, it won’t get better

But you can watch me grow smaller with each day

Without you with me, I’m feeling this decay
