I’ve never been one for erasing
But I’ve come to realize
That life would seem a little less tainted
Without these memories
It was sun shine and one constant thought
It was eternal smiles and a reason for my hands
We didn’t sleep all night, just looked into each other’s eyes
Praying that the morning would never come
But it always came,
As much as I wished it wouldn’t
It always came.
My brain wasn’t normal,
Your smell like my perfect poison
Those were the happiest days of my life.
But now everything is done
The flower has since wilted and died
There is emptiness and memories
Memories that I’d like to erase
