That enemy of mine, that evil thing,
It waits in the dark contemplating.
Plotting how to disturb me most,
I should kill it and spit on its ghost.
This is it's plan, that agent from hell,
To disturb my sleep with a malicious bell.
It happens each morning before I awake.
This fiend does great problems for me make.
Finally up I grasp it to tear it apart!
Then it stops singing, I'm alone in the dark.
I set the beast down and begin my day.
My enemy has spoken, I must now be awake.
