Where’s your man?*

“He’s at home, I keep him locked away”
Accept that’s not true
Not the part about where he is
That part is true
I am sure he is at home
It’s the part about you keeping him locked away
That is not true
He keeps you locked away.

*Aunt Jody

months ago my good friend's aunt died and at the funeral one of the other aunts asked why her 'man' wasn't there, she replied he's at home I keep him locked away

Shoes and Pumpkins

Like the old lady who lived in a shoe
she had so many children she didn't know
what to do. she put them in a pumpkin shell
and there she kept them very well.

A guy tried to put me in a shoe once,
he went to jail and I came back to Detroit
and hung out with bikers - True story. ~ Lady A
