A train with a shortage of coal
Or a bus that has lost its wheels
Or a plane in engine failure
Or a letter never sent
You are rain locked in storm clouds
Or a cell phone cursed to silent
Or a Christmas day with no snow
Or a constant nagging maybe
You are a model’s head in the midst of chemo
Or a fishing lure flown into a kiddie pool
Or a kite in space
You are Bill Murry in Groundhog Monday
Or a stove with no fire
The bottom of the barrel
You are just like the waiting place
